About Apocrypha Band.
Apocrypha Band was organized in 1996 in Tacoma, USA by 2 brothers Andrey and Pavel Zhuravel. When they came to America in 1995, both brothers either from not knowing much English or just being homesick, started writing one lyrics and the other one electronic music. Then in 1996 by some circumstances they decided to combine their work. This resulted in first shy but very long song. In 1997 Andrey and Pavel met 16 years old David Denchik. In coming months their friendship turned into irreplaceable David's work as recording studio engineer and unmerciful but honest critic. In 1998 Sergey Stasiuk started working with the band as bass guitarist with great enthusiasm. At that time we had written many songs and decided to make our first album. In beginning of 2000 the first album "Twenty long centuries" was out. In 1999 Andrey have met Alexander Mazakov who was working as a sound engineer in music studio "New Sound" in Portland. We started working with a single album "Behind empty words..." which included 4 songs. We had done big and interesting job. This album was recorded in 2 studios at the same time and mastered in "New Sound" studio. "Meeting guys from "New Sound" greatly helped us in sound recording and many other things" said Andrey. In 2002 single album "Behind empty words..." was out. Alex Mazakov continues his work with Apocrypha Band and performed in few concerts as bass guitarist because Sergey Stasiuk for some reasons could not work with the team.
